For our March book discussion, we'll meet at 1 PM today (Tuesday, 3/16) in the local history room on the 1st floor of the Kingston Library, 55 Franklin Street, to talk about The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman by Ernest J. Gaines. ViVi Hlavsa will present background on the author.We'll watch the 18-minute video called The Psychological Residuals of Slavery at our next meeting -- on April 20 (Equal Pay Day), when we will be discussing First Mothers by Bonnie Angelo.
